The demonstrative must match the gender of the singular noun, not the gender of the speaker.

Use هَذَا with masculine singular objects: كِتَابٌ، دَفْتَرٌ، قَامُوسٌ، مَكْتَبٌ، حَاسُوبٌ.
هَذِهِ مِسْطَرَةٌ.
