Building a Full Introduction بِنَاءُ تَعْرِيفٍ كَامِلٍ بِالنَّفْسِ

Bring together everything you can already say—greeting, name, age, origin, residence, nationality and language—and connect it into a clear introduction that another person can follow.

A full introduction is not one new sentence. It is a sequence of secure sentences from F2-L01–L06.

Open and greet

مَرْحَبًا!
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ.
أَهْلًا وَسَهْلًا.

Choose one suitable opening.

اِسْمِي ...

Use ـكَ / ـكِ for the listener.

Age

عُمْرِي ... سَنَةً.
كَمْ عُمْرُكَ؟
كَمْ عُمْرُكِ؟

Recycle accurate numbers and the age phrase.

Origin

أَنَا مِنْ ...
مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتَ؟
مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتِ؟

مِنْ tells where someone is from.

Residence

أَسْكُنُ فِي ...
أَيْنَ تَسْكُنُ؟
أَيْنَ تَسْكُنِينَ؟

فِي tells where someone lives.

Language

أَتَكَلَّمُ ...
أَفْهَمُ ...
أَقْرَأُ ...
أَكْتُبُ ...

Choose only the verbs that are true for you.

Nationality

جِنْسِيَّتِي مِصْرِيَّةٌ.
أَنَا مِصْرِيٌّ / مِصْرِيَّةٌ.
أَنَا سُورِيٌّ / سُورِيَّةٌ.

With أَنَا, match the speaker. After جِنْسِيَّتِي, the adjective is feminine because nationality is feminine.

Close politely

تَشَرَّفْنَا.
سَعِيدٌ بِلِقَائِكَ / سَعِيدَةٌ بِلِقَائِكِ.
سَعِيدٌ / سَعِيدَةٌ بِلِقَائِكُمْ.

Match سَعِيدٌ / سَعِيدَةٌ to the speaker.

Keep origin and residence separateمِنْ أَيْنَ؟ وَأَيْنَ تَسْكُنُ؟

A person can be from one country and live in another country or city. The small words مِنْ and فِي carry different meanings.

Origin · where from?أَنَا مِنْ سُورِيَا.I am from Syria.

Use مِنْ before the country or place of origin.

Residence · where living?أَسْكُنُ فِي لَنْدَنَ.I live in London.

Use فِي before the current city or country of residence.

The order is flexible in real life, but this Foundation sequence gives the listener a clear path through your information.

Connector rule

وَ attaches to the next word

Arabic writes the conjunction as part of the following word:

اِسْمِي لَيْلَى، وَعُمْرِي ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً.

Add one more detail

Use أَيْضًا after the added idea

أَتَكَلَّمُ العَرَبِيَّةَ، وَأَتَكَلَّمُ الإِنْجِلِيزِيَّةَ أَيْضًا.

You may avoid repeating the verb: أَتَكَلَّمُ العَرَبِيَّةَ وَالإِنْجِلِيزِيَّةَ.

Accuracy checklist
  • Greeting comes first.
  • اِسْمِي and عُمْرِي carry the ـِي ending.
  • مِنْ introduces origin; فِي introduces residence.
  • After أَنَا, nationality matches the speaker; سَعِيدٌ / سَعِيدَةٌ also matches the speaker.
  • وَ is attached to the following word.
  • Arabic punctuation and right-to-left layout are checked.

Core: four sentences—name, age, origin and residence. Develop: five or six sentences with language/nationality and a polite close. Stretch: seven connected sentences, include أَيْضًا and then write a second introduction about a fictional person.
