عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي... وَجُمَلُ المَرَضِ البَسِيطَةُ
The lesson-plan grammar focus is the fixed health frame عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي plus a body part, followed by simple sentences that name an illness and agree with the speaker.
What does the structure communicate?
Which word or ending changes?
What must match the noun or person?
Can you use it with new vocabulary?
Use عِنْدِي + symptom.
أَشْعُرُ بِـ introduces a feeling or pain.
The body part can be the subject of the pain expression.
Make مُصَابٌ / مُصَابَةٌ agree with the speaker.
عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي + جُزْءِ الجِسْمِ
Use the complete chunk عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي and then name the affected body part, often with a possessive ending.
عِنْدِي + مَرَضٌ / عَرَضٌ
Common illnesses and symptoms can follow عِنْدِي directly.
أَنَا مَرِيضٌ / أَنَا مَرِيضَةٌ
The adjective changes according to whether the speaker is male or female.
مُنْذُ + مُدَّةٍ
Use مُنْذُ to say how long the problem has continued.
| What you mean | Core structure | Example |
|---|---|---|
| pain location | عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي... | عِنْدِي أَلَمٌ فِي بَطْنِي. |
| named illness | عِنْدِي... | عِنْدِي زُكَامٌ. |
| male speaker | أَنَا مَرِيضٌ | أَنَا مَرِيضٌ اليَوْمَ. |
| female speaker | أَنَا مَرِيضَةٌ | أَنَا مَرِيضَةٌ اليَوْمَ. |
Choose one clear structure and complete it accurately. عِنْدِي صُدَاعٌ is a simple possession pattern; أَشْعُرُ بِصُدَاعٍ uses a preposition; يُؤْلِمُنِي رَأْسِي makes the body part the thing that hurts.
Health descriptions should remain factual and age-appropriate. The lesson teaches language, not diagnosis. Serious or persistent symptoms require an appropriate adult or healthcare professional.
