Control the study verbتَحَكَّمْ فِي فِعْلِ الدِّرَاسَةِ

The beginning of the present-tense verb identifies who studies.

أَنَا أَدْرُسُI study
نَحْنُ نَدْرُسُwe study
هُوَ يَدْرُسُhe studies
هِيَ تَدْرُسُshe studies
Ask one male listener

مَاذَا تَدْرُسُ فِي المَدْرَسَةِ؟

What do you study at school?

Ask one female listener

مَاذَا تَدْرُسِينَ فِي المَدْرَسَةِ؟

What do you study at school?

Do not confuse

أَدْرُسُ means I study. أُدَرِّسُ means I teach. The shadda changes the verb.
