Q3 extended writing — plan then draft (25 marks)

Task

Choose ONE and write about 130–140 words: (A) “صِفْ رِحْلَةً لَا تُنْسَى.” (B) “هَلِ التِّقْنِيَةُ تُسَهِّلُ حَيَاةَ الطُّلَّابِ؟” Plan an opening, development and conclusion before you write.

  • A clear opening that sets the topic.
  • A developed middle with reasons and examples.
  • A conclusion that links back to the task.
  • Range spread across the paragraphs; 130–140 words.

لَنْ أَنْسَى رِحْلَتِي إِلَى الجِبَالِ فِي الصَّيْفِ المَاضِي. فِي البِدَايَةِ كُنْتُ مُتَرَدِّدًا، لٰكِنَّ المَنَاظِرَ كَانَتْ سَاحِرَةً. اسْتَمْتَعْنَا بِالمَشْيِ وَتَعَلَّمْنَا كَثِيرًا عَنِ الطَّبِيعَةِ. عَلَى سَبِيلِ المِثَالِ، رَأَيْنَا شَلَّالًا رَائِعًا وَخَيَّمْنَا تَحْتَ النُّجُومِ. صَحِيحٌ أَنَّ الطَّرِيقَ كَانَ طَوِيلًا، غَيْرَ أَنَّ التَّجْرِبَةَ اسْتَحَقَّتِ العَنَاءَ. وَلَوْ أُتِيحَتْ لِي فُرْصَةٌ أُخْرَى، لَعُدْتُ فَوْرًا. وَبِنَاءً عَلَى مَا سَبَقَ، أَرَى أَنَّ السَّفَرَ خَيْرُ مُعَلِّمٍ.
