Q2 directed writing — a formal note (10 marks)

Task

Write about 80–90 words to your head teacher requesting permission for a class trip. Cover: the proposed trip, its educational benefit, the date, and a polite request. Keep the register formal and cohesive.

  • A formal opening and closing.
  • Connectors linking the ideas (أَوَّلًا / لِذٰلِكَ / أَخِيرًا).
  • Every content point covered.
  • 80–90 words, consistent formal register.
