This lesson revisits the whole D5 system as a checklist you can apply while speaking: choose the person, choose the stem, attach the suffix, then add a reason.

If the examiner uses a past verb or a past time phrase, mirror it. Answering in the present is the most common avoidance pattern.
hollow / weak-final → adjust, then attach
قَالَ becomes قُلْـ, مَشَى becomes مَشَيْـ, and only then does the suffix go on.
action + reason or detail
A bare verb scores little. Add لِأَنَّ, a frequency phrase or a connector to turn an answer into a response.
past → present → future
A strong topic answer narrates, then describes the habit now, then states a plan.

Under pressure many candidates answer a past question in the present, because the present is easier to form. Examiners notice this immediately. If the question contains a past verb or a past time phrase, your answer must contain one too.
دَعْنِي أُفَكِّرُ and سُؤَالٌ جَيِّدٌ give you a second to assemble the verb while still speaking Arabic. A short filler in the target language costs nothing; a long silence costs fluency marks.

The question asked about yesterday. Repair the tense.أَمْسِ أُشَاهِدُ المُبَارَاةَ مَعَ أَخِي.

Fix the irregular stem
