The structure carries the marks: past experience, present habit, future plan, each signalled by its own time phrase and its own verb form.

The time phrase fixes the tense of the verb.
أَمَّا always needs فَـ on the second part.
أَنَّ makes the following noun accusative.
فِي الطُّفُولَةِ + past · الآنَ + present · فِي المُسْتَقْبَلِ + future
The time phrase tells the reader which tense to expect, and the verb must then match it.
أَمَّا + noun + فَـ + predicate
This pair introduces a contrasting topic. The فَـ is obligatory on the second part.
أَعْتَقِدُ أَنَّ + accusative noun + predicate
أَنَّ makes the following noun accusative, unlike أَنْ which takes a subjunctive verb.
أَنْوِي أَنْ + subjunctive verb
أَنْ takes the subjunctive, so the final ḍamma becomes a fatḥa.

The Range criterion rewards a text that narrates in the past, describes a habit in the present and states a plan in the future. Three tenses handled accurately score higher than one tense decorated with unusual vocabulary.
Count your past verbs, check each suffix, check every hobby collocation and confirm the word count. Most marks lost at this level are lost to things the writer could have found in ninety seconds.
