1
Four temporal layers build a rich narrative

Layer 1 (before, past perfect): كُنْتُ قَدْ قَرَأْتُ عَنْ مَرَّاكُشَ. Layer 2 (during, past): وَصَلْتُ وَانْبَهَرْتُ بِجَمَالِهَا. Layer 3 (reaction, past): أَدْرَكْتُ أَنَّ الصُّوَرَ لَا تُنْصِفُهَا. Layer 4 (reflection, conditional): لَوْ لَمْ أُسَافِرْ، لَمَا فَهِمْتُ سِحْرَهَا.

2
Reaction verbs carry the emotion

فَاقَ تَوَقُّعَاتِي، غَيَّرَ نَظْرَتِي إِلَى، أَثَّرَ فِيَّ بِعُمْقٍ — these past reaction verbs turn a list of events into a story with feeling. Pair one with a contrast: كُنْتُ قَدْ تَوَقَّعْتُ … لٰكِنَّ الوَاقِعَ …

Every answer checks a stated rule, change or agreement decision.

Sentence-building and transformation studio

The guided builder develops flexible sentence construction. The three independent tasks then test different skills: grammatical transformation, meaning and coherence, and original sentence production.

Combinatorial builder studio

Build a four-layer anecdote from a before-clause, a during-clause and a reflection.

This guided builder accepts 27 accurate combinations. Build 3 different sentences, changing one meaningful chunk each time. Compare the grammar and meaning before moving to the independent tasks.

My generated sentence

اِخْتَرْ جُزْءًا مِنْ كُلِّ قَائِمَةٍ.

Each before-clause, during-clause and reflection is accurate on its own, so any three different combinations work.

Transformation challenge

Use the past perfect for the before-layer

Repair the tense for an event before the holiday.
Original sentence

سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ البَاعَةَ يَتَفَاوَضُونَ قَبْلَ زِيَارَتِي.

قَبْلَ الزِّيَارَةِ ← مَاضٍ تَامٌّ

2
Transformation challenge

Fix the negative Type 2 result

Repair the counterfactual reflection.
Original sentence

لَوْ لَمْ أُسَافِرْ، سَمَا فَهِمْتُ الثَّقَافَةَ.

لَوْ لَمْ … لَمَا

3
Transformation challenge

Remove the extra preposition

Repair the reaction so فَاقَ takes a direct object.
Original sentence

Accuracy repair workshop

Strong learners do not only recognise an error: they identify the system and repair it.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ البَاعَةَ يَتَفَاوَضُونَ قَبْلَ زِيَارَتِي.

كُنْتُ قَدْ سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ البَاعَةَ يَتَفَاوَضُونَ قَبْلَ زِيَارَتِي.

An event before the holiday takes the past perfect.

لَوْ لَمْ أُسَافِرْ، سَمَا فَهِمْتُ الثَّقَافَةَ.

لَوْ لَمْ أُسَافِرْ، لَمَا فَهِمْتُ الثَّقَافَةَ.

A negative Type 2 result uses لَمَا, not سَـ.

المَكَانُ فَاقَ تَوَقُّعَاتِي عَلَى.

فَاقَ المَكَانُ تَوَقُّعَاتِي.

فَاقَ takes a direct object; no trailing preposition.
