Present conjugation begins at the front of the verb.

Arabic present is not identical to one English tense. It can correspond to “I write”, “I am writing” or an arranged “I travel tomorrow”, depending on context.

Feminine third-person singular uses تـ.

Feminine addressee

Add ـين for you feminine singular.

Feminine plural

هُنَّ تَكْتُبْنَ

هُنَّ يَكْتُبْنَ

Third-person feminine plural begins with يـ.

English tense transfer

أَقْرَأُ = I am reading only

أَقْرَأُ = I read / I am reading, according to context
