دَرَجَاتُ النَّصِيحَةِ لِلْعَادَاتِ الصِّحِّيَّةِ
The lesson-plan grammar focus compares strong and gentler advice frames, then connects the advice to a reason.
What does the structure communicate?
Which word or ending changes?
What must match the noun or person?
Can you use it with new vocabulary?
Use the plural “we” form when advice includes everyone.
This gives advice less strongly than يَجِبُ.
Use لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ for negative advice.
Add a reason to make advice meaningful.
يَجِبُ أَنْ + فِعْلٌ
Use يَجِبُ أَنْ for an important recommendation.
مِنَ الأَفْضَلِ أَنْ + فِعْلٌ
This frame means “it is better to” and softens the recommendation.
لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ + فِعْلٌ
Use the negative frame to discourage an unhealthy action.
لِأَنَّ... / لِذٰلِكَ...
لِأَنَّ introduces the reason; لِذٰلِكَ introduces the result or recommendation.
| Strength | Structure | Example |
|---|---|---|
| strong | يَجِبُ أَنْ | يَجِبُ أَنْ تَشْرَبَ المَاءَ. |
| gentle | مِنَ الأَفْضَلِ أَنْ | مِنَ الأَفْضَلِ أَنْ تَنَامَ مُبَكِّرًا. |
| negative | لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ | لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ تُكْثِرَ مِنَ السُّكَّرِ. |
A healthy lifestyle is a pattern, not one perfect meal or one intense exercise session. Use balanced, realistic language such as بِاعْتِدَالٍ and focus on sustainable habits.
Advice structures require the verb after أَنْ. Learn high-frequency chunks securely before analysing every ending in depth.

يَجِبُ أَنْ نَشْرَبُ المَاءَ.
يَجِبُ أَنْ نَشْرَبَ المَاءَ.
The model uses the subjunctive ending after أَنْ.
لَا يَجِبُ نَأْكُلَ سُكَّرًا كَثِيرًا.
لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ سُكَّرًا كَثِيرًا.
Keep أَنْ in the advice structure.
الرِّيَاضَةُ مُفِيدٌ.
الرِّيَاضَةُ مُفِيدَةٌ.
رِيَاضَةٌ is feminine, so the adjective is feminine.
