ظُرُوفُ التَّكْرَارِ وَتَعْبِيرَاتُهُ
Frequency is more than دَائِمًا and أَحْيَانًا. Control single-word adverbs, numerical frequency phrases and negative frames, then place each expression where it reads naturally.
What does the structure communicate?
Which word or ending changes?
What must match the noun or person?
Can you use it with new vocabulary?
Two clauses, two agreements.
Topic + فَـ comment.
Negative frequency frame.
Comparative + مِنْ.
جُمْلَةٌ، بَيْنَمَا + جُمْلَةٌ
Both sides are complete clauses. The subjects may differ, so check each verb prefix independently.
أَمَّا + المَوْضُوعُ + فَـ + الجُمْلَةُ
أَمَّا introduces the topic and فَـ begins the comment.
فِعْلٌ + ظَرْفُ تَكْرَارٍ · كَثِيرًا مَا + فِعْلٌ
Frequency may follow the verb, or a phrase such as كَثِيرًا مَا may introduce the clause.
أَكْثَرُ / أَقَلُّ + صِفَةً + مِنْ
The comparative phrase describes the difference between two days or schedules.
| Structure | Purpose | Model |
|---|---|---|
| بَيْنَمَا | contrast two clauses | أَدْرُسُ بَيْنَمَا يَسْتَرِيحُ أَخِي. |
| أَمَّا ... فَـ | change topic | أَمَّا السَّبْتُ فَهُوَ يَوْمُ الرَّاحَةِ. |
| أَكْثَرُ ... مِنْ | compare degree | الثُّلَاثَاءُ أَكْثَرُ اِنْشِغَالًا مِنَ الاِثْنَيْنِ. |
