Extended Writing: My Home and Familyالكِتَابَةُ المُطَوَّلَةُ — بَيْتِي وَعَائِلَتِي

Turn the complete F3 language system into a well-organised 70–90-word Arabic text, then review and improve it independently.

Bring the whole F3 language system togetherاِجْمَعْ لُغَةَ الوَحْدَةِ فِي نَصٍّ وَاحِدٍ

This lesson does not introduce a new topic. It teaches you how to select, connect and improve the family-and-home language you already know.

By the end
  • Plan a complete response before writing.
  • Write 70–90 connected Arabic words about home and family.
  • Use a purposeful range of F3 structures and connectors.
  • Review task completion, variety and accuracy.
  • Produce an improved final version.
The three quality questions
1Did I answer every point?إِتْمَامُ المَهَمَّةِ
2Did I show variety?التَّنَوُّعُ
3Is my Arabic accurate?الدِّقَّةُ

Connector laboratoryمُخْتَبَرُ الرَّوَابِطِ

A connector must show a real relationship between ideas. Do not add one simply to increase a counter.

وَ and add another detail
أَيْضًا also add a further point
وَلَكِنْ but show a contrast
لِأَنَّ because give a reason
ثُمَّ then show sequence
بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ after that continue a sequence
أَمَّا ... فَـ as for ... open a new focus
فِي المُقَابِلِ in contrast compare two ideas
لِذَلِكَ therefore show a result
مَعَ ذَلِكَ however add a stronger contrast
Addition

فِي بَيْتِي حَدِيقَةٌ، وَفِيهِ شُرْفَةٌ أَيْضًا.

Use وَ and أَيْضًا when the second point adds information.

Contrast

غُرْفَتِي صَغِيرَةٌ، وَلَكِنَّهَا مُرِيحَةٌ.

Use وَلَكِنْ when the second idea differs from the first.

Reason

أُحِبُّ حَيِّي لِأَنَّهُ هَادِئٌ.

Use لِأَنَّ to explain why.

Sequence

أَدْرُسُ فِي غُرْفَتِي، ثُمَّ أَجْلِسُ مَعَ عَائِلَتِي.

Use ثُمَّ for events in order.
