Objectives and exam focus

In this lesson you will

  • Turn mock feedback into a named list of gaps.

02

From feedback to a repair plan

Gap-filling is **personalised**. Read your mock feedback and error log, name the two or three errors that cost the most marks, and repair them with one method: **diagnose → learn the rule → drill it → apply it in all four skills**.

03

Four steps

The repair method

1Diagnose

Name the exact error from your feedback.

2Rule

Learn the rule from wrong/right examples.

3Drill

Practise until the correct form is automatic.

4Apply

Use the rule in reading, listening, writing and speaking.
