- Set a measurable X9 repair target.
Exam Skills X9 · Targeted Gap-Filling
Open the gap-filling unit: read your mock feedback, name your top grammar and skill gaps, and learn the diagnose–rule–drill–apply repair method that runs through X9.

Tick each as you secure it.
Gap-filling is **personalised**. Read your mock feedback and error log, name the two or three errors that cost the most marks, and repair them with one method: **diagnose → learn the rule → drill it → apply it in all four skills**.
Four steps
Name the exact error from your feedback.
Learn the rule from wrong/right examples.
Practise until the correct form is automatic.
Use the rule in reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Fourteen rounds across common gaps — a wrong answer costs a life. Note which types you miss.
Listen for the rule

Write about 80–90 words: name your top two gaps from your mock, and your plan to repair them. Give reasons.
