Objectives and exam focus

In this lesson you will

  • Work a Paper 2 reading past paper under exam conditions.
  • Compare your answers against the mark scheme.
  • Identify and classify your own errors.
  • Log each error with its correction and rule.

You are exam-ready when…

Tick each as you secure it.

02

Session focus

Reading marks are lost by **answering from memory instead of the text** and by **copying the wrong line**. Find the evidence, underline it, and answer only what the command word asks.

  • Correct agreement, verb forms and spelling.
  • Keep to the word count.
